Add great spring themes to Windows and colour the desktop
Windows is easy to customize, and you can download and install new themes that completely change the look of Windows. These themes are free and there are some excellent ones for spring to brighten up the desktop.
A theme is a collection of elements that change the way Windows looks and sounds. It includes one or more images for the desktop background, new color schemes to match the images, and several sounds for various system events. Everything is packaged into a single theme file, so there’s just one download and one easy-to-install file.

There is a large collection of Windows themes on the Microsoft website and some are specific to either Windows 7 or 8, but lots of work to do on both.
There are featured themes and you can find the new spring themes on the Windows Personalization Gallery home page. Click on the Get this Seedlings theme link or Get the Spring Blooms theme.
press the download theme button and the file will be saved in the Downloads folder. Next, open the folder and double-click the Saplings.themepack file, or if you’re using Google Chrome, just click the downloaded file button in the lower-left corner of the browser. The theme will be installed and selected automatically.
Repeat with the other spring theme – download and install by opening it.
The Personalization app in Control Panel might open automatically, but if it doesn’t, right-click on an empty area of the desktop and select Personalize. All topics are listed and you will find the new topics there. You can switch from one topic to another just by clicking on it.
A theme includes a color scheme and they are chosen to match the theme. What if you don’t like a certain color scheme, e.g. B. pink window title bars or flashy bright yellow? They can easily be changed. press the colour icon and then select the color scheme you want to use, e.g. B. a traditional Windows blue. The first color chip with the rainbow fan is an automatic color picker. Windows analyzes the desktop image and selects an appropriate color scheme.
When a new color scheme is selected and the save Changes button is clicked, the theme is classified as an unsaved custom theme. You can see one in the (third) screenshot above. It can be right-clicked and saved, or you can click on the original theme to revert to its color scheme.
A theme contains at least one desktop image, often a dozen or more. These can be adjusted by clicking on them Desktop background icon in the (third) screenshot above (right-click on the desktop and select Personalize).
Uncheck any desktop wallpaper that you don’t want to use. Below are some useful options and you can choose how often you want the desktop picture to change. Times range from every 10 seconds to once a day. Changing too often will be very distracting, and the best option is 1 day.
Every day when you turn on your computer, it shows a new image, making it fresh and interesting without being distracting.
