Aghanim’s Labyrinth: Continuum Conundrum Event and Pass Drilldown

Christmas came early this year for Dota 2 players as Aghanim’s maze, The Conundrum Continuum, is full of goodies. From flashy Arcana skins to an exciting new event – the Aghanim labyrinth is Valve’s idea for this winter.

Let’s dive in.

Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Conundrum Continuum Event

The wise old Aghanim again has no good playing around with the Continuum device without reading the practical manual. In Aghanim’s defense, nobody likes reading manuals, so here we are again, expected to clean up his mess. Rest assured that Aghanim has rewards in store for our helping hands. Plus, the Conundrum Continuum event is sure to be more exciting than your average pub match anyway, so I see this as an absolute win!

What is the labyrinth of the Aghanim: the puzzle continuum?

The Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Conundrum Continuum offers a game mode in which a team of four players work together to overcome phases and finally reach the final boss.

While the new event is the second iteration of Aghanim’s Labyrinth trilogy, it differs from the last one where Aghanim was the final boss. We see a new line of monsters, but the Primal Beast is celebrated as the final boss.

The gathering phase of Aghanim’s labyrinth

Fun fact, before the event was announced, Dota 2 data miners first found clues about the Primal Beast, which they believed was a new hero. Turns out it’s just a Frankenstein monstrosity from the official hero Lifestealer currently raging the event. That said, we don’t have to remove the Primal Beast or Aghanim themselves from the list of heroes to come just yet.

Stages in the labyrinth of the Aghanim The puzzle continuum

Nonetheless, the Conundrum Continuum includes a number of phases that players must go through in order to achieve various goals. For example, the first tier ‘Mango Orchard’ is essentially a mango and gold rush. Players collect mangoes, gold, and items that will be useful for purchasing items in the following stages.

The second phase, “Hard Boiled”, involves clearing out creeping waves emerging from portals, and you can expect further phases to be exponentially difficult.

Pro tip: Pick a carry hero who will shrink the inventory with six slots as you will get a lot of gold. For example Drow Ranger with supports like Ogre Magi and Omniknight. Omniknight is reliable for its ability to use Heavenly Grace, which is handy for keeping Drow’s glass cannon building going. Bloodrage the Ogre Mages serves as an attack and movement speed buff for allies to maneuver quickly as monsters are constantly on the hunt.

Last but not least, a durable tanker like the Ax or Centaur to divert attention from your main cause of damage.

The Conundrum Continuum event couldn’t be happier without exclusive rewards for attending. If you play the event, you will earn points towards leveling up the Battle Pass. In addition to the premium rewards like Drow Arcana, Mirana Persona, and a Hoodwink Immortal Set, there are other easier-to-win rewards like Immortal Treasures, Set Treasures, and Loading Screen Packs as you level up the Battle Pass. Aghanim’s Labyrinth Battle Pass Reward: The Mirana of Nightsilver Persona

At level 135, the Mirana Persona is the easiest reward to redeem. The Mirana personality bears a resemblance to the Mirana character in The Dragon’s Blood, Netflix series. This came after Dragon Knight got his iconic personality at the Nemestice event last summer. Then Marci joined the last update of Dota-Verse to reunite this group of misfits.

From a Dota 2 skin enthusiast’s point of view, the Mirana personality’s selling point is her custom starfall effect, which is also very similar to the Netflix show.

Aghanim’s Labyrinth Battle Pass Reward: Mirana’s Dark Moon Armor

At level 235, Mirana receives additional accessories that give her another iconic Netflix-exclusive outfit. There is also a customized bow and arrow shot skill effect.

Aghanim’s Labyrinth Battle Pass Reward: Hoodwink skin, the Tomo’kan incarnation

At level 277, which isn’t too far from the previous reward, there is an explosive Hoodwink skin. The set gives Hoodwink a sophisticated vibe, which paired with Topias Miikka is sure to be threatening. “Topson”Taavitsainen as a player.

Aghanim’s Labyrinth Battle Pass Reward: The Drow Ranger Arcana Bundle, Dread Execution

Finally, at level 333, the reward any Dota 2 player will consider buying the Drow Ranger Arcana. The Arcana bundle is delivered as a set, the Drow Ranger a ‘Spirit of Tsushima‘Mood of character.

However, the massive crossbow is the highlight of the entire Arcana. Fortunately, most of the Arcana customization effects are attached to the bow, so players can enjoy the various mix-and-match sets to create their ideal Drow Ranger outfit.
