Aura PH rebrands to Echo for MPL PH S8
New name, same management.
Aura PH will now play under a logo that looks like a killer whale in the ocean as the organization announced a major rebranding for the upcoming MPL season.
After two seasons representing the Aura flag in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL PH), the team will now advance in MPL PH S8 under the new name Echo.

The organization shared the news on Aura PH’s Facebook page and released a video showing the revised line-up of the squad, which is led by veterans Chan “Rafflesia” Fajura, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales and Mark “Lord Hadess” Lazaro will.
According to a Manila Bulletin report, Echo is a distinct Filipino team supported by Aura Esports and is in no way related to Indonesia’s ECHO Esports.
“Our CEO Christopher Djaja of Aura Indonesia wanted us, the PH team, to have our own established name in the country,” general manager Mitch Liwanag told Manila Bulletin.
Where are Jaypee and Killuash from Aura PH?

The white and blue team has recruited Onic PH’s Jason “Jaymeister” Torculas and Omega Esports’ Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira midlaner to add experienced firepower to Echo’s roster.
The dynamic coaching duo of Steven “DaleDalus” Vitug and two-time MPL PH Champion Michael Angelo “Arcadia” Bocado remain in the organization.
Liwanag also confirmed to Manila Bulletin that Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz has officially retired, while Ashley “Killuash” Cruz will be taking a break from competitive MLBB.
