Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 6 Match Predictions and Analysis
The sixth season of the Dota 2 Champions League 2021 highlights the Eastern European region as a thriving Dota 2 scene that is full of potential. This comes after Team Spirit won the International 10 (TI10) that the EEU engraved on the map in Dota 2. While it certainly isn’t Dota Pro Circuit (DPC 2021-22) material, there are some notable games worth watching.
Dota 2 Champions League 2021 season 6 fixtures
All fixtures for the 6th season of Dota 2 Champions League 2021 are given in the time zone CET:
- Hydra vs IVY – December 13th 13:00
- Fantastic five against Nemiga – December 13th 10:00
- CIS rejects vs. V Gaming – December 14th, 16:00
HYDRA vs. IVY
Hail Hydra! This unsuspecting squad may not seem like a formidable team, but they are made up of well-known Kyrgyz players. Namely Bakyt “Zayac“Emilzhanov, Kiyalbek”dream“Tayirov and Evgenii”Blizzy“Ri, these players once made phenomenal debuts in powerhouse organizations.
Like many aspiring prodigies in the EEU, they eventually become free agents after orgs disband full rosters for new ones. Therefore HYDRA is founded, a temporary group of well-known professionals who stimulate their entry into relevance. Jokes aside, HYDRA is a strong team on paper and has a good instinct for late-game investments. They often choose reliable late game carries like Slark, Juggernaut and Morphling, which are not very popular in EEU.
Compared to IVY, a candidate for qualification, Hydra certainly stands out as the stronger team. The only viable bet is to walk for less than 32.5 minutes x2.16 in return.
Fantastic Five vs Nemiga Gaming
A well-known mainstay in the semi-professional EEU scene is Nemiga Gaming. They’re not seedy for a team that regularly competes in the Division 2 DPC 2021-22. They also compete against Fantastic Five, which is not a big challenge compared to other well-known teams such as CIS Rejects, Brame or even HYDRA. Gameplay aside, Nemiga has incredible drafting strategies as we’ve seen them deliver offensive initiations.
They thrive in fast-paced games in which they take out individual enemy heroes. At some point, their opponents are forced to play defensively, as Nemiga is so effective at getting rid of a hero. Expect the odds of winning at Nemiga. favor x1.34 against F5 at x3.14 returns.
CIS rejects vs. V Gaming
CIS Rejects, the newest member of the EEU scene, is unanimously crying out for the namesake of this line-up. Once big winners for Virtus.pro and more recently Natus Vincere, CIS Rejects are certainly a passing group for these players to play some Dota 2 games. The roster includes three former navigation players, Roman “RAMZES666“Kuschnarew, Pavel”9pasha“Chwastunov and Vladimir”RodjER“Nicogosian. Unfortunately, despite the expectations of the legendary CIS players, the former allies did not deliver during the TI10 qualifiers.
Nevertheless, these cancellations are still justifiable in terms of performance in the Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 6. Especially against V Gaming, which will probably be at a disadvantage compared to the individual skills of RAMZES666. Combine that with his close teammates and the highly respected Artsiom “fng“Barschak.
It is a candidate to win the Dota 2 Champions League Season 6 overall in 2021. Dota 2 Odds wise, the CIS rejects are expected to win at x1.51 against V Gaming x2.48 Opportunities.
If you think the group stage matches are looking crowded, then stay tuned for the 2021 Season 6 Dota 2 Champions League playoffs. Four invited playoffs are reportedly invited, including HellRaisers and Entity, while the remaining two are to be announced . Even so, HellRaisers’ confirmed appearance is arguably the greatest threat to these teams. After sweeping the floor against Virtus.pro, they became the next big thing in Dota 2 betting.
