EE launch Clash Royale tournament with place on Fnatic pro team up for grabs


EE, The British mobile network operator has announced the launch of the EE Mobile series, a mobile gaming tournament that rewards the winner with a spot in the Esports organization Fnatic. The OnePlus 6T will be the handset partner of the tournament.

The tournament will be played in three stages, culminating in a live final to be played at BT Sport’s London studios on Sunday 20th January 2019.

Contestants will play Clash Royale on the all-new OnePlus 6T, the tournament’s exclusive mobile phone partner. Those looking to compete across the UK are invited to join the EE Mobile Series by visiting, where their journey to earn a coveted spot on Team Fnatic begins with two Opens Qualifiers (27th and 29th November).

The top 16 players from each Open Qualifier are seeded into 4 groups and advance to the group stages (4th to 8th).th6th11th and 13th December), where each group performs a best-of-3 single round robin. The top 2 players in each group advance to the Grand Finals in January.

The tournament will be broadcast on all major streaming platforms.

The winning player will not only be crowned the first-ever champion of the EE Mobile Series, but will also join the roster of the Fnatic Clash Royale team, where they will be fully supported.

The winning player will receive a competitive full-time salary, training and their own gaming setup. Additionally, they will live with the rest of the roster at Fnatic Gaming House.
