The tournament aims to double the number of titles players can compete for. For the second season, Asphalt 9, Clash of Clans, Auto Chess and PUBG Mobile were selected for the competition. Alongside the new titles, players will be competing for a share of a €85,000 (£76,564) prize pool.
Oliver Maxield, Senior Global Product Manager at ESL, commented on the expansion in a press release: “We are very excited to build on the success of the inaugural 2019 season by expanding the ESL Mobile Open to the MENA region for 2020, while continuing to expand in Europe. We also introduced Auto Chess and Clash of Clans game titles. The bar for success is high, but Season 2 is going to be bigger and better than its predecessor and we wish players the best of luck in this competition.”

Qualifying for the tournament begins on October 12, with the finals taking place entirely online on November 13-15.
Esports Insider says: Mobile esports have proven extremely popular in other markets, so it’s about time the ESL expanded ahead of the second season of their popular mobile tournament. It’s great to see lesser served nations getting involved in big events.
