Fallout 76 2022 Roadmap Revealed in Full

In an effort to give a glimpse of upcoming content, Bethesda Game Studios has officially released the Fallout 76 2022 roadmap. For months, fans have been in a state of dismay, wondering when new content might appear on the somewhat dwindling post-apocalyptic MMORPG platform. On February 21, Bethesda released an admittedly very exciting roadmap for 2022 that highlighted four seasons of content.

For fans of the franchise like myself, this is an exciting time. It’s no big secret to the fact that Fallout 76 has had trouble keeping players, especially in the last few months. With previous updates and expansions constantly being delayed, it seemed like nothing really ever happened. That, combined with reports that Bethesda’s Fallout 76 team was downsizing, resulted in untold bad blood among players.

So what does that mean Fallout 76 2022 roadmap appearance?

While it wasn’t an all-singing, all-dancing announcement, the mere presence of a roadmap is exciting in itself. In 2022, Fallout 76 promises to be better than ever, with more content than any other window in the game’s four-year history.

It all begins in just a few weeks with the arrival of Invaders from the Beyond, a long-awaited alien-based expansion. It’s no exaggeration to say that fans have been waiting for this content forever – Since then, references to third-party content have arrived Day one, back in 2018. After this update, which includes a Vault-Tec season, players will participate in the Test Your Metal update. This will introduce Fallout 76 to an intense arena mode, as well as scoreboard upgrades and a whole new season.

And then we’re introduced to the much-anticipated content drop in the game’s story – The Pitt. It’s been over a year since this expansion – or “Expedition” – was announced, and it will be the first out-of-map experience for Fallout 76 fans. This will be a game changer, introducing a whole new storyline, environment and gameplay a whole bunch of extra content.

Finally the year ends with Nuka-World on Tour. This is an expansion themed to Fallout 4’s most popular and deepest (and final) expansion. There’s a lot coming this year, including a new region boss, events, legendary aspects, CAMP components, and more – but will Bethesda actually be delivering that content ?

Apocalyptic Expectations

the Fallout 76 2022 roadmap looks good on the surface, but Bethesda has had trouble delivering on promises in the past. Although it looks like Bethesda is going to be a lot more transparent and genuine now – and changes are certainly taking place.

Recently, Bethesda announced the discontinuation of the PC-based Bethesda Desktop Launcher, among other platform-centric changes. In 2022, there’s a huge boost to content across Bethesda’s arsenal the introduction of Starfield November in focus.

Let’s just hope the Fallout 76 2022 roadmap materializes as expected and that Bethesda doesn’t have their hands full with the busy year ahead.
