Search for “defrag” in the Windows search bar.
The first step to defragmenting your PC is to go to the Defragment and Optimize Drives menu. To do this, simply search for “defrag” in the Windows search bar and it should return a result for the menu.
To get into the menu, either click on it or press Enter -
Select the drive you want to optimize
Once the menu opens, you need to select the drive you want to optimize by clicking on it in the menu.
You can basically optimize any drive you want, be it your Windows drive or any additional hard drives you have installed, including external ones.
