What we used
The short version
- Click the PrintScreen button on your keyboard
- Or click the Windows and F11 keys at the same time
- Go to Paint and press Ctrl and V at the same time to paste your screenshot
- Or go to your Screenshots folder to find your images
Depending on your keyboard, you may have a Print Screen button. Clicking the Print button will take a screenshot of your entire screen and save the image to your computer storage. After clicking this button, you can copy your screenshot to an application like Paint.
Simultaneously click the Windows and F11 keys
Another method to take a screenshot is to click the Windows and F11 keys at the same time. This option is more accessible as not every keyboard has a push button. This method also creates a full image of your entire screen, but saves it to your Screenshots folder instead, meaning you don’t have to copy and paste it into another application.
Go to Paint and press Ctrl and V at the same time to paste your screenshot
If you used the first option (via the PrintScreen button), you can paste your screenshot into a document, file, or application. Paint is very easy to use and can be opened from the Windows search bar. Once in Paint, click the Ctrl and V keys at the same time, then edit the image however you like and save it with your preferred filename.
Go to your Screenshots folder to find your images
If you used the second method (simultaneously clicking the Windows and F11 keys), your screenshot will be automatically saved to your PC. You can find your images in the Screenshots folder, which is located in the Pictures folder.
